Good fit
When online psychotherapy can make sense
Sometimes the journey to the practice gets in the way of the therapy itself. In these situations, video sessions can be a good solution – for example with:
- long journeys to the practice
- a shortage of therapy places nearby
- physical or family-related limitations
- school or work commitments
- time spent abroad or travelling
- the wish for more flexibility in everyday life
How an online session works
Online sessions take place via webPRAX, a certified and data-protection-compliant video service that meets the specific security requirements for video-based psychotherapy. This ensures that our conversations remain confidential.
Please note
Please note
Online psychotherapy is not suitable for acute psychological crises, in particular severe suicidal states or acute crisis situations linked to substance use. In such cases, immediate treatment and support in person are required.
What you need
Technical requirements
Beyond that, a few requirements should be in place so that our conversations can happen in a protected setting:
- a quiet, undisturbed room with enough privacy
- a stable internet connection
- a computer, tablet or smartphone with a camera and microphone
